BURLINGTON - Mark E. Flynt, loving husband, father, and son, of Burlington passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 26, 2020.
He grew up in Alamance County and was the husband of 18 years to Alexa Smith Flynt and the son of William Monroe Flynt and Brenda Teague Ellington. He graduated from Western Alamance High School and was a sales representative for over 20 years with R. H. Barringer Distributing Company. He loved his family and enjoyed supporting his sons in their sports activities.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Parks Colin Flynt and Alex Jennings Flynt; mother, Brenda Teague Ellington and her husband Thomas of Elon; father, William Monroe Flynt and his wife Carol of Greensboro; brother, Michael Derek Flynt and his sons Bryan and Brandon of Elon; parents-in-law, Jennings “Jimmy” and Rachel Smith of Burlington; and brother-in-law, Randall Smith and his wife Janna along with their daughters Ella and Aniston.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at St. Marks Church with the family receiving friends immediately following the funeral service.
