SOUTHPORT, NC - Jo Carol Apple Helms, age 74, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Tyvola Apple of Burlington, NC and a brother Larry Apple.
Jo is survived by her husband, Clyde Everett Helms, a daughter, Donna Overman (Tony) of Southport, a son Darrell Helms (Julie) of Leland, a brother Wayne Apple of Burlington, NC, seven grandchildren, Chad Dillahay (Natalia) of Supply, Joey Helms (Alicia), Brando Helms (Alison) of Shallotte, Jessica Wood (David) of Southport, Will Helms, Ashley Helms of Leland, Lee Hill of Charlotte, and six great-grandchildren, Ethan and Emily Wood, Lane and Dalton Dillahay, Caden and Eli Helms.

Jo Carol Apple Helms 74, of Southport, formerly of Burlington, passed away Thursday April 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Tyvola Apple of Burlington, NC and a brother Larry Apple.
