Richard Lee Strouse
On February 21, 2020, Richard Lee Strouse passed on to his heavenly home.
Richard (Dick) was born December 20, 1935 in Ross County, Ohio, the son of Paul Strouse and Bernice Hinton Strouse.
After graduating Otterbein College, he was employed with AT&T and worked in Columbus, Ohio; Vancouver, Washington; New York, NY; and Greensboro, NC. As a Buckeye, he always enjoyed Ohio State Football. He enjoyed music of the Big Band Era having played trumpet in his early life. He is a member of Saint Mark’s Church.
He was a loving husband to Jane Boswell Strouse, stepfather of Tammy Walker (Trip) and Robert Brady (Jamie), and survived by daughter-in-law, Kandy Strouse, four grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Rick A. Strouse.
Dick and Jane appreciate the family and friends who showed him kind support and assistance during his last days.
A graveside service will be at Stony Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery on February 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m, followed by visitation in the church fellowship hall.
