Bobby  Eugene Madren

GRAHAM — Bobby  Eugene Madren , 73, of 6002 Rumley Road, made his graduation processional walk into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday, September 25, 2006 after several months of failing health.
A native of Alamance County, he was born on June 25, 1933, the son of the late Everette Kime Madren  and Viola Carroll Madren , who survives. He was married to the late Loreane Groce Madren , who died in 2004 and was eagerly awaiting his promotion into Glory so that they may bow at the feet of Jesus together, hand in hand. Bobby  was a devoted attendee of Saxapahaw Evangelical Friends Church and was employed at the Hillsborough and Siler City Stockyards. Bobby  was a wonderful father and grandfather, who loved his family dearly. His life was full and overflowing with laughter and smiles. He enjoyed life to the fullest, even unto his last breath. Bobby’s  heart’s desire was that all of his family and friends would come to know the joy and liberty of a real and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Bobby  is survived by his mother of the home; three daughters, Norma Newton and her husband, John, of Alamance, Tammy Pike and her husband, Jim, of Graham, and Tina Doby and her husband, Mark, of Whitsett; two sons, Barry "Buck" Madren  of Graham and the Rev. Bryant Madren  and his wife, Leslie, of Tobaccoville, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel Ray and her husband, Willard, of Mebane.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2006, at Saxapahaw Evangelical Friends Church by the Rev. Stephen Hall, and the Rev. Bryant Madren . Interment will follow at Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Thursday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, and other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to Saxapahaw Evangelical Friends Church, 5918 Whitney Road, Graham, N.C. 27253.
