Obituary Online notes for Lalah Frances Elizabeth SUMMERS
Lalah Shoffner Mrs. Lalah Summers Shoffner, 86. 723 Burlington Gibsonville, died at 1 a.m. today in Childer's Rest Home in Burlington following five years of failing health and two weeks of critical illness.

A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Jacob L. and Amanda Gerringer Summers and the wife of the late George Page Shoffner.

She was a member of the Friedens Lutheran Church.

Surviving is one son, Dwight Shoffner of Gibsonville: daughters, Mrs. Russell (Kathleen) J. Turner of Rt.4 Burlington, four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Friedens Lutheran Church with the Rev. Vernon Frick officiating.
