Kathleen Shoffner Turner
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Kathleen Shoffner Turner, 94, of Rockledge Drive, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at Twin Lakes.
A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late R.J. Turner and daughter of the late George Page and Lalah Summers Shoffner. She was a homemaker, a member of Friedens Lutheran Church and was secretary for R.J. Turner and Sons.
Survivors include her son, William “Bill” Turner of Whitsett; daughter, Kathy Church and husband Kenny of Burlington; grandchildren, Rusty Turner, Ricky Turner, Billy Turner, Tammy Powell, Page Keck and Katie English and 10 great-grandchildren .
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jimmy Turner; and brother, Dwight Shoffner.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bill Zima. Interment will follow in Friedens

cemetery. Mrs. Turner will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service.
The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday and at other times at the home of Rusty Turner, 2644 Hamilton Road, Burlington.
