Bernice Beckom Cantrell

   BURLINGTON — Bernice Beckom Cantrell, 91, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015.

   She was born in Alamance County to the late Thomas and Juanita Sutton Beckom and was married to the late George Garland Cantrell. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

   She is survived by her children, Gaynell Leazer of Greensboro, Wade and Laurie Cantrell of Orange Park, FL, Glenn and Claudia Cantrell of Danville, VA, Janet and Gary Radford of Burlington; grandchildren, Kristin and James Canipe, Chris Radford, Brandon Radford; great granddaughter, Hadley Canipe; brother and sister-in-law, John D. and Martha Beckom, and brother, O.T. Beckom, all of Burlington. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Conard Beckom, and sister, Bettie Nell Satterfield .

   A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Alamance Memorial Park.
