Mr. Tommy Lee Leonard, 55, of Burlington, NC passed away on Saturday June 27, 2020 at the Hospice Home of Burlington. A native of Alamance Co. NC, he was the son of the late Robert Ray and Dollie Wagoner Leonard. Tommy lived and died for his daughter and family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend to all. Tommy enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was around the lake, beach, fishing, he loved the water. Tommy worked for 20 plus years at Tommy’s Mini Mart on Webb Ave in Burlington. Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Jeannie Howard Leonard, of the home; his loving daughter, Heather Leonard, of the home; his sisters, Cindy Moize(Tim), of Gibsonville, Tina Brantley (Jack), Darlene Leonard, Diane Johnston, all of Graham and Penny Turner, of Snow Camp; a brother, Gary Leonard (Eva), of TN and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Ray Wagoner. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday July 1, 2020 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Wayne Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Haw River Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Tuesday June 30, 2020 at McClure in Graham and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance/Caswell at 918 Chapel Hill RD. Burlington, NC 727215.
