Merwin L. SummersNAMPA — Funeral services for Merwin Lewis Summers, 64, 1212 Fourth St. N., who died Friday night at a Nampa hospital after an extended illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
Rev. Harold W. Kiemel of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene will officiate, and interment will follow in the Garden of Devotion of Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Summers was born July 10, 1902, in Missouri. He was reared in Yuma, Colo. He moved to Kuna, Idaho in 1928 and lived there until 1945. In that year he moved to Nampa where he had since resided. He was a member of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by two brothers, C.F. Summers of Fort Worth, Texas, and Everett Summers of North Sacramento, Calif.; and by two sisters, Mrs. Neva Harper of Nampa and Mrs. Ermil Jerome of Kuna. He was preceded in death by his parents.
