Mrs. Lettie SummersNAMPA — Mrs. Lettie I. Summers, 82, of 1204 Fourth St. N., Nampa, died yesterday afternoon in a Nampa nursing home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1882, in Kansas, to Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Connor, and was reared there. She was married to Calvin Summers in October of 1901 in Missouri. They lived in Oklahoma and Colorado before moving to Kuna in 1927.
In 1951, they came to Nampa, where she had since lived. Mr. Summers died May 25, 1961. Mrs. Summers had been in ill health for some time.
She was a member of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene and the Missionary Society of that church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Neva Harper, Nampa and Mrs. Evelyn Jerome, Kuna; three sons, Merwin, Nampa, Charlie, Fort Worth, Texas and Everett Summers, Sacramento, Calif., six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at Alsip Chapel. The Rev. Harold Kiemel of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
