Memorial service will be at a later date at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
Barbara was born on June 5, 1916 to Cordie and Nancy Alice (Berry) Harper in Cotulla, Texas. She was united in marriage to Charles Francis Summers December 4, 1940 in San Antonio. Barbara a retired school teacher was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness in Decatur. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Danie Williams, Holly Hine, Lorene Patton, and Ada Lee Noah; her brother, J.C. Harper; and her niece, Darlene Lee. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, her granddaughter, her nieces, her nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.470, Barbara Harper Summers
