Betty Sue Highfill Gerringer, age 89, of Greensboro, passed away Friday July 27, 2018.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday July 29, 2018 at Westminster Gardens. The family will receive friends 12:30-1:30 PM Sunday at Forbis & Dick N. Elm Chapel.
Betty Sue, known as Sue, was born August 19, 1928 to the late Herman and Eva Fields Highfill. She was a devout Christian, wife, and mother.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon G. Brown, son Joel Gerringer (Linda), 2 granddaughters Tiffany B. Unruh, and Harlee Gerringer, one great granddaughter Reagan Lynn Unruh, and close family friend Nancy Williams and son Brian.
Memorials may be made to the Assistance Fund at 4700 Millenia Blvd Orlando, Florida 32839, or Alzheimer's Foundation of America at 322 8th Ave Suite 800, New York, NY 10001.
