ELON — Mr. George E. Testerman, 65, of 1670 Westbrook Ave., The Oaks, Elon, died 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the Hospice Home of Burlington following one year declining health.
A native of Selma, N.C., he was son of the late James H. Testerman and Eunice Fowler Testerman.
He was an electrician, a member of Burlington Assembly of God and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Surviving are three sons, Matthew E. Testerman and fiancée Betty Jo of Johnson City, Tenn., Gregory L. Testerman and wife Jennifer of Burlington and Christopher Brooks Testerman of Burlington; three grandchildren, Brittany R. Testerman, James G. Testerman and Megan Testerman; one brother, James H. Testerman of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Hawkins of Durham, Mrs. Carolyn Bare of Snow Camp and Patricia Linnens of Haw River.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral & Cremation Service in Burlington from 5 until 7 p.m. on Friday, July 10.
