GIBSONVILLE - Mrs. Maude Marley Gerringer, 79, of 602 Piedmont St., was dead on arrival in a Burlington hospital Sunday night at 7 o'clock after five years of failing health.

A native of Chatham County, she was the daughter of the late James and Katie Blair Marley.

She attended Gibsonville Christian Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harold Caldwell of Rt. 6, Burlington, and Miss Aileen Gerringer of the home; one son, Lewis Gerringer of the home; one sister, Mrs. Bess Murray of Burlington; and two brothers, Lanson and Lon Marley, both of Siler City.

Final rites will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Raymond Webb, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Gibsonville City Cemetery.

The body will remain at Lowe Funeral Home through the service.
The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock.
At other times they will be at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Harold Caldwell of Rt. 6, Burlington.  470, Maude Marley Gerringer
