    BURLINGTON — Agnes C. Haith, 84, of Burlington ended her life’s journey on Friday, August 22, 2008. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia to the late Richard and Bessie Florence Crews and was married to the late Ernest Haith. She retired from Burlington Industries Pioneer Plant where she was a dedicated yarn winder for over 40 years.
    She was a loving mother always ready to lend a hand to anyone. She loved being outside enjoying God’s beauty tending to her flowers.
    Mrs. Haith was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Bessie Crews; husband, Ernest Haith; son, Clifton Brown and grandson, Ricky Howell; two brothers and five sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Wrenn and her husband Roy, and Betty Bowes all of Burlington; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; her sister, Norma Crews of Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.
    The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bobby Fann with interment to follow at Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:45 Monday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Carolyn Wrenn.
    Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
