Kermit Hoover Ingle
BURLINGTON – Mr. Kermit Hoover Ingle, 90, of Burlington, passed away at his residence on Friday, December 6, 2019. Mr. Ingle was son of the late Victor Lee Ingle and Dorothy Smith Ingle.
Mr. Ingle was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Alamance, where he served as a Deacon. He was also a member of the Cattleman’s Association.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Lorene Smith Ingle, of the home; son, Randle Ingle (Sandra) of Greenville, SC; daughter, Vanessa Ingle Robertson (Jack) of Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandchildren, Chris Ingle (Tricia Surles) of Greenville, SC, Megan Stathakis (Michael) of Greenville, SC, Madison Robertson Middlebrook (Will) of Houston, TX, Hunter Van Robertson of London, England and Brandon Ingle of Greenville, SC; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn Ingle, Homer Ingle, and Bennett Ingle.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 10, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45 – 1:45 PM, prior to the service and other times at the residence.
