Clara Moser Cobb
MCLEANSVILLE — Clara Moser Cobb, 82, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at the Hospice Home. She was born February 22, 1929 in Whitsett, N.C. to the late Daniel and Ruth Moser.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Cobb and his wife Susan, Steve Cobb and his wife Robin, all of McLeansville; three grandsons, Brandon Cobb and his wife Marcia, Danny Cobb and his fiancée Tracy Deal and Alex Cobb; and her brother, Homer Moser and his family.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 300 Knox Road, McLeansville, by Pastor Paul Rhodes, Pastor Sue Flippin and the Rev. Ed Allred. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Thursday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, 2205 S. Church Street, Burlington, N.C.
Clara was a beloved member of Bethel Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years, serving on the Pulpit, Nominating, Missions and Hospitality Committees, as well as teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
Known for her love of the Lord, people, flowers and laughter, she will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
