MCLEANSVILLE — Ralph Michael “Mike” Cobb, 60, passed away on November 30, 2014 at his residence.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mike was born on March 4, 1954 in Guilford County. He was employed by Bell South for 31 years. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, a Deputy Chief and Board Member with McLeansville Fire Dept., a former firefighter with Whitsett Fire Dept., a member of the McLeansville Lions Club, Guilford Co. Cattlemen’s Assoc., Guilford County Farmers Assoc., an FAA certified Private Pilot, a licensed Real Estate Broker and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Lee Cobb and Clara Moser Cobb.
Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife Susan Cagle Cobb, son Brandon Michael Cobb (Marcia) of McLeansville, N.C. and a brother Steven Lee Cobb (Robin) of McLeansville, N.C.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 pm at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
