BURLINGTON — Mrs. Gladys Huffman Fogleman , 86, of 3146 Beaver Creek Road, passed away at her residence at 6:17 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, 2007.
A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of George Alexander Fogleman and daughter of the late Dwight Huffman and Katie Huffman . She was a lifelong member of Low’s Lutheran Church.
Her family includes her husband of the home; sons, Fred Lane Fogleman , deceased, and George Vaughn Fogleman of the home; sister, Hollis H. Curtis of Burlington; brother, Thomas Huffman , deceased; grandchildren, Lane Fogleman , Clifton Fogleman and wife Pam, Dean Fogleman and wife Angela, Michael Vaughn Fogleman , deceased, and Jennifer Fogleman-Hughes and husband Michael; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, Oct. 22, at Low’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. David Mielke officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday evening and other times at the residence.
Memorials may be made to Low’s Lutheran Church, 2136 Hwy 61 South, Liberty, N.C. 27298.
The family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver, Charlotte Robinson.
