Graham – Lisa Beth McMannen Waggle, 39, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was born on August 27, 1981 in Durham County to George Thomas and Beverly Ayers McMannen.
Lisa enjoyed her work as an orthodontist assistant at Smith and Heymann in Durham and attended Lamb’s Chapel in Burlington. She loved to go to the beach as often as she could and was even married there. Lisa loved watching her girls play softball and would practice with them whenever she could. She was an animal lover and would even bring home any animals that were surrendered to the veterinarian’s office she worked at in high school. Her parents recall her bringing home numerous different animals to live with them during that time.
Lisa is survived by her daughters, Maycee and Olivia Tickle; husband, Jason Waggle; parents, George and Beverly McMannen; brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Kathleen McMannen; nieces; Neely and Chloe McMannen; step children, Dayves and Garner Waggle; numerous aunts and uncles and her beloved fur baby Molly.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, January 16, 2021 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Rick Finley with the burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The public is welcome to come by the funeral home between 1:00 and 4:00 on Friday to sign the register book. The service will be live streamed.
Memorials may be made to the college fund for Maycee and Olivia Tickle.
