 ELON, N.C. — Hazel Morton Robertson, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the Hospice Home.
 
 She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of 67 years to John William Robertson Jr., who survives.
 
 Hazel retired after over 30 years with Lorillard Tobacco. She was a member of Berea Christian Church and was a ‘42 graduate of A-O High School. She loved making porcelain dolls and crocheting angels. Hazel was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
 
 Survivors include her husband, John W. Robertson Jr., of the home; sons, Mark Robertson and wife Mary of Elon and David Robertson and wife Bridget of Burlington; grandchildren, Chad Robertson and wife Kris of Atlanta, Ga., Brad Robertson and wife Erin of Concord, Julian Robertson and wife Tina of Picayune, Miss. and Trudy Robertson of Burlington; nine greatgrandchildren.
 
 She was preceded in death by her parents, Junius Everette “Ebb” Morton and Sally Price Morton; brothers, Russell, Vance “Bill”, John and Frank Morton; sisters, Peggy Wilson, Alyse Simpson and Edith Tunstall.
 
 The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Alamance-Caswell for their kind and compassionate care. A special thank you to Polly Wilson and Sharon King who have been Hazel’s caregivers for many years.
 
 A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bland Leebrick and the Rev. David Morton. Entombment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
 
 The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
