Final rites were held at 3 o'clock this afternoon for Mrs. Kathleen Foster Bowman, 47, of Rt. 2, Burlington, at Union Ridge United Church of Christ. Mrs. Bowman died suddenly at her home at 7 o'clock Saturday night.
The service was conducted by H. Winfred Bray, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Kenneth Register, pastor of the Beverly Hills United Church of Christ. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bowman was a native of Alamance County, daughter of the late Mack Jefferson and Mrs. Georgianne Warren Foster. She was a member of the Union Ridge United Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband, Van L. Bowman of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Vanda Kay Boggs of Rt. 2, Burlington; one son, Mac D. Bowman of Elon College; one sister, Mrs. Henry Clay Page of Rt. 2, Burlington; one brother, Mack Foster of Rt. 2, Burlington, and one grandchild.
Pallbearers were Mack King, Ellridge Boswell, Manley Hurdle, Roy Stanley, Sr., Boll Mahan, Marshall Koury. 470, Kathleen Foster Bowman
