Mrs. Betty Futrell Way
GRAHAM — Mrs. Betty Futrell Way, 88, of Graham, passed away at 2:38 a.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
A native of Wake County, she was the wife of the late Clyde Victor “Pete” Way Jr. and daughter of the late Dewey Belton Futrell and Letha Hardee Futrell. She was a member of Lamb’s Chapel and was a retired volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Hospice.
Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Way, of Alpharetta, GA; a son, Stuart Way and wife Teressa, of Snow Camp; a sister, Frances Sutton of Graham; a brother, Charles
D. “Jeep” Futrell of Graham; a stepgrandchild, Alicia Purcell and her granddog, “Daisy.”
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 23 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham with the Rev. Chris Phelps officiating. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial
Park.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory in Graham from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening.
