Annie “Ann” Coble Holt
Annie “Ann” Coble Holt, 95, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at her residence at The Oaks. Born in Alamance County, she retired from the Kayser-Roth Hosiery Greensboro office and was a member of Low’s Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Bible Study Group and the Couples Sunday School Class.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Gilmer “C.G.” Holt, Jr.; parents, William W. Coble and Lillie Shoffner Coble; and sisters, Betty Coble Hanner and Dorothy Coble Phipps.
Survivors include her son, Charlie G. Holt III of Greensboro; nieces, Betsy Ramey and Rebecca Askew both from McLeansville; great-nephew, Trey Askew, his wife Jessie and their two children all of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington.
Ann’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Low’s Lutheran Church.
