Thelma Christine Webster Barts
HAW RIVER — God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be; so He put His loving arms around you and whispered “Come With Me.” A faithful heart stopped beating; you passed the final test; so now you are in heaven and have found the perfect rest.
Thelma Christine Webster Barts passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, after years of declining health at her home in Haw River. Born Oct. 28, 1924, in Caswell County, she was a daughter of the late Voyal and Annie Taylor Webster. She was married to the late Alvis Barts. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Haw River.
Other predeceased are a son, Roger Barts; five brothers (wives), Jack (Bessie), Bill (Lou Ellen), Roy, Banks (“Gertie”), and “Jiggs” (Ann) Webster; two sisters, Claris Borden, and Nellie (Charlie) Johnson; and a son-in-law, Rainey Rimmer.
Loved ones left to cherish her memory are sons, Keith Barts and Herman Huffman (Betty); daughters, Thelma Davis, Linda Price, and Sheila Rimmer; daughter-inlaw, Jean Barts; 13 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; one greatgreat-grandchild; one sister, Frances Webster Smith Davis; and three sisters-inlaw. The visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McClure Funeral Service in Graham. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Haw River. Pastors Walter Jones Jr. and Bennie Smith officiating.
At other times, family will be at the home, 415 Roma Road, Haw River.
