GRAHAM — Mrs. Charlotte Leonard Williams, 73, of 1837 Almond Lane, Graham, died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 9:04 p.m. following 2 1/2 years of declining health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of O. Royce Williams, who survives, and the daughter of the late L.A. "Fate" Leonard and Mary Clapp Leonard Boggs, who survives. She retired from W.E. Love & Associates. She was a Shrinette and a member of the Women of the Moose. Mrs. Williams was also a member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church
In addition to her husband of the home and her mother of Burlington, survivors include two sons, Mr. Keith Williams of Murrells Inlet, S.C., and Mr. Kim Williams of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Frances Wilkerson of Burlington, and Mrs. Pam Braxton and husband, Billy, of Graham; one brother, Mr. Harrell Leonard and wife, Nancy, of Burlington; two grandchildren, Aaron Williams of Richmond, Va., and Jeremy Williams of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. by Dr. Tommy Willis.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Wednesday following the service, and at other times they will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
