BURLINGTON - Sadie Ann Hall Conklin, 83, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 10, 1934 in Orange County to the late William Newton Overby and Annie Myrtle Parrish Overby.
Sadie was the wife to the late Ralph Hall of 45 years and the late Daniel William Conklin of 5 years.
Sadie retired from Burlington Industries and attended Kimesville Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Pat Walker and husband, Phil, Barbara Overby and husband, Donald; sons, Glenn Hall and wife, Debbie, Don Hall and wife, Sandy; grandchildren, Kim Moricle, Brian Walker, Kathy Pollock, Mark Self, Kit Hall, Jason Hall, Brent Hall, Hannah Bason and Mackensi Hall; 10 great-grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and a sister, Jean Hundley.
She was preceded in death by her, parents; brothers, Leonard, Herman and Jim Overby, and sisters, Pat McGhee and Frances Redd Saunders.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jackie Lee Franks and Roger Moricle with burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the home of the son, Glenn Hall.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and especially to Teri Wall for all the loving care that was shown to Sadie during her illness. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
