Betty Darelene Troutman

July 15, 1930 ~ February 22, 2022 (age 91)

Betty Darelene Richmond Troutman, 91, of Burlington passed away at her residence on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Jack D. Troutman, who survives and the daughter of Lindsay H. Richmond and Pearl Holt Richmond, both deceased. She formerly worked for the Cadillac Dealership for 25 years, County Ford, and then retired from Morris Plan Bank. She was a Burlington Shrinette and a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Don Troutman and wife Marjie of Greensboro and Jeff Troutman of Burlington; grandson, Ryan Troutman and wife Jamie of Raleigh; and great granddaughter, Piper. She was preceded in death by a sister, Hilda Ludwig.

A graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to her caregivers, Anna Overman, Brianna Overman, Erin Shaver, Chastity Bullock, and Ann Wooten for the special care and kindnesses given to Darelene.
