According to the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) records, Thomas Walker Jr. was born about 1709 in Nottoway Parish, Amelia County, VA prior to Nottoway County being created there in 1789. In 1735 in Spotsylvania County, VA Thomas Walker, Jr. (c. 1709 – 6 Jun 1793) married Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Ellis (c. 1720 – Bef 1798), the daughter of John Ellis (1678-1745) and Sarah Austin (Robert Lake Clark research).
