Pamela Lewis O’Malley
Pamela Lewis O’Malley, 55, of Graham passed away suddenly at her residence on Monday, December 30, 2019.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Tim O’Malley, who survives and the daughter of Edward Lewis, who survives and the late Shirley Gilliam Lewis.
Pamela was a supervisor at the Department of Social Services for 18 years and was known as the face of Social Services in Alamance County. She received many awards for her outstanding performance. She loved her job and always put others before herself. Pamela was a member of Faith Christian Church.
Pamela loved spending time with her family and especially being a mawmaw. Her grandsons held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her husband and father, survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Hutcherson and Stacey Edens; one son, Sean O’Malley; five grandsons, Daniel Edens, Nicholas Hutcherson, Austin Hutcherson, Adrian Edens and Jaxson Hutcherson; one brother, Edward Lewis, Jr. (Vonda); two sisters, Michelle Nunn (Larry) and Barbara Robbins (Larry); aunt and uncle, Everett and Cheryl Lewis; many nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Pastor Reid Dickens.
The funeral service will be conducted at Faith Christian Church, 2638 Grand Oaks Blvd., Burlington, NC 27215 on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. by Pastor Reid Dickens with the family receiving friends from 5:00 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Faith Christian Church, P.O. Box 1731, Burlington, NC 27216.
