Mr. Ronnie Lee Wagoner
GRAHAM — Mr. Ronnie Lee Wagoner, 72, of 5839 N.C. 87 South, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 at Duke University Medical Center.
He was the owner and operator of Wagoner’s Automotive and an avid car lover. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. His family knew him as "Pops." He attended Cornerstone Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Durham Wagoner of the home; children, Carrie Wagoner of the home, Ricky Wagoner and wife Jennifer, Todd Wagoner, Melinda Ingold and husband Steve, Price Gammon and wife Traci and Ronnie Gammon and wife Misty; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson; a sister, Pat Matkins of Burlington and a brother, Jim "Buddy" Wagoner of Sneed’s Ferry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R E Wagoner and Blossie Smith Wagoner; sisters, Maude Wagoner and Grace Pike; and a son, Ricky Dean Wagoner.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009 at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Darrel Kroeze and Pastor Stephen Hall. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at McClure Funeral Home in Graham, and at other times at the residence.
