Emma Dabbs McKinney


Burlington – Mrs. Emma Dabbs McKinney, 92, of Burlington, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020, at Liberty Commons in Burlington.
A native of Caswell Co., she was the wife of the late Jessie William McKinney, and daughter of the late Joseph White Dabbs and Nannie Violet Oakley Dabbs. Mrs. McKinney was retired from Kayser-Roth and a member of Lakeview Community Church where she was a Deaconess.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Lemuel McKinney and wife Carolyn of Burlington, and William Lee McKinney and wife Suzanne of Charlotte; a grandson, Joseph Lee McKinney and wife Alicia; three great grandchildren, Roslyn, Jessie and Jensen; and a niece, Hilda Talley. Mrs. McKinney was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
A private service will be held for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Community Church, 101 Boone Rd., Burlington, NC 27217.
