 GRAHAM – Mr. Jerry Lynn Apple, 57, of Eli Whitney, passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center on Friday, September 16, 2016.
 
 A native of Greensboro, NC, he was the husband of Marilynn “Jane” M. Apple, who survives, and son of the late Robert Clifton “Cliff” Apple and Willie Etta Biddy Apple.
 
 He was a self-employed logger and contractor.
 
 Jerry was a wonderful husband, father, paw-paw, brother-in-law, and mentor.
 
 He was a member of Trinity Worship Center, where he was a youth leader for 12 years.
 
 Jerry loved the Lord and everyone he came in contact with, he never met a stranger.
 
 He was a BBQ Master. He loved older cars and trucks, hunting and fishing, a true outdoorsman.
 
 Surviving, other than his wife of the home, are three sons, Carnel Apple and wife Sarah, Benjamin Apple and girlfriend Misty and Lane Apple; a daughter, Deanna Apple Morris and husband Justin; granddaughter, Andrea Nicole Apple; daughter-in-law, Shelly Apple; sister-inlaw, Donna Maynard; brother-in-law, Timothy A. Maynard; and mentored brothers in Christ, Jordan “Firebird” Smith, Mikhael “Gorby” Al-Chacar, and Josh Dean.
 
 A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2016 at Trinity Worship Center with Pastor Darrell Cox and Pastor Roger Barefoot officiating.
 
 The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. prior to the service.
 
 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Worship Center, PO Box 1321, Burlington, NC 27217.
