Ms. Carolyn Stubblefield, 70, of Burlington, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023, at her residence.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late James Carroll Jefferies and Blanche Somers Jefferies. Ms. Stubblefield was a retired teacher and a member of the First Christian United Church of Christ.
Surviving are a daughter, Anna Stubblefield Smith (Justin) of Burlington, a sister Sandra Jefferies Stone (Stuart) of Burlington, and an aunt, Elsie Somers Bolick, of Burlington.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, October 23, 2023, at the First Christian United Church of Christ with Dr. Anthony Hoshaw officiating. The burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 PM prior to the service.
