Edwin "Eddie" Lee Lassiter
Edwin “Eddie” Lee Lassiter, 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the hospice home surrounded by his family.  He was born on July 11, 1948 in Alamance County.
 
Eddie retired from Huffman Oil Company and formerly worked at Burlington Industries and Cone Mills.  He enjoyed dancing, skating, loved history and was a Biltmore and Titanic enthusiast.
 
He is survived by his sister, Pattie Hensley Bradsher (Rodney); niece, Dara Rickards and husband Bruce; nephews, Walter Darrell Hensley and Colon Dylan Bradsher and wife Valerie; great nieces and nephews whom he adored. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Carleene King Hensley; father, Tommie Hensley; and his brothers, John Vernon Lassiter and Walter Stevenson Hensley.
 
The graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Gail Smith, Hospice Chaplain.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30pm Saturday prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence.
