Claude "Tommy" Greeson
January 8, 1938 — October 16, 2022
Gibsonville

Gibsonville – Claude Thomas “Tommy” Greeson, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2022 after several months of failing health.  He was born in Guilford County on January 8, 1938 to the late William Clarence and Ruth Maxine Stewart Greeson and was the husband of 66 years to the late Nina Jean Crumpton Greeson.
 
Tommy was a longtime member of Brick Reformed Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. 

He served in the US Navy and retired after 32 years with IBM as a National Customer Service Executive. 

Tommy was an artist and a handy man who could build just about anything.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.
 
Survivors include his children, David Greeson and wife Sylvia, Cheryl Sexton and husband Marty, Jeff Greeson and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Stephen Greeson and wife Elizabeth, Maria Greeson, Ashley Brown and husband Justin, Amanda Sexton, Hannah Decker and husband Nick, Kayla Pollard and husband Darius; eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; brothers, Bobby Greeson and wife Shirley, Ron Greeson and wife Trudy; numerous nieces and nephews and his special friends, Faye Southern and her late husband Bill, Ed and Delores LeHanka and Marie Oakes and her late husband Bob.
 
The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Brick Church by Rev. Geoff LaLone with the burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:30pm to 2:45pm Wednesday prior to the service and other times at the daughter, Cheryl’s home in Gibsonville.
