Mrs. Walter Murray
GIBSONVILLE -- Mrs. Walter Murray, 84, of Rt. 1, Gibsonville, died yesterday at her home following an extended illness.
A native of Alamance County, she was the former Daisy Wrenn. She was a member of Berea Christian Church and had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. R. S. Hackett, for the past 23 years.
Survivors, in addition to Mrs. Hackett, include three other daughters, Mrs. Henry May and Mrs. Elmer May, both of Rt. 4, Elon College, and Mrs. Rufus Cook of Rt. 1, Gibsobville; one son, Marion Murray of Rt. 1, Elon College; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie McIntyre and Mrs. Collie Barbee, both of Rt. 2, Elon College; and two brothers, Max and Melvin Wrenn, both of Rt. 2, Elon College.
Final rites will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at Bethlehem Christian Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will remain at City Funeral Home in Reidsville untill taken to the church for the sevice. 467
