J. T. Wrenn Dead at Altamahaw Home
James Thomas Wrenn. aged 73 years, for the past forty years a resident of Altamahaw, died at his home there this morning at 5:30 following failing health of a year's duration, with three days of serious illness. He was a loyal member of the Junior Order U. A. M.
Funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at Bethlehem Christian church by Rev. J. P. Apple and Rev. L. V. Harris, and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his widow and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Walter Murray and Roy, Maxie, and George Wrenn, Altamahaw; Mrs. G. W. Summers and J. H. Wrenn, Greensboro; and Mrs. J. M. McIntyre, Mrs. D. L. Barber, and Melvin Wrenn, Elon College; and 30 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
