Obituary Online notes for James McKinley GREESON Sr.
ASHEBORO James McKinley "Tooney" Greeson Sr., 85, of Golda Ave., died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church, conducted by the Rev. Mark Wilburn and the Rev. Joe Edwards. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
Mr. Greeson was a native of Guilford County and was a retired inspector with Moore Garner. He attended Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church.
Survivors are his daughter, Barbara Greeson Nixon of Asheboro; son, James M. "Jim" Greeson Jr. of Asheboro; sister, Lucille Craven of Franklinville; and grandchildren, Mark Pierce, Tyler Nixon, Brandon Nixon and Matthew Greeson.
The family will be receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at Ridge Funeral Home and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Nixon, 312 Greenlawn Drive, Asheboro, N.C. 27203.
