Nancy Rudd Kellam
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Nancy Rudd Kellam, 80, of 5744 South N.C. 62, Burlington died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 10:47 p.m. after several years of declining health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Brodice Perry Kellam and the daughter of Clarence Henry Rudd and Ide Elizabeth Taylor Rudd, both deceased. She was a former textile employee and a homemaker. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church where she served as a nursery school teacher.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Kellam of the home and Norma Kellam Crabtree and husband Dermont of Statesville; two grandchildren, Tracy Crabtree and Heather Crabtree, both of Statesville; and two sisters, Judy Pritchett and husband Estine of McLeansville and Linda Wicker of Whitsett.
The funeral service will be conducted at Shiloh Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Carl Parsons. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service to lie in state.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
