SNOW CAMP — Mr. Layton Eugene Lutterloh, 84, of 4901 Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Road, Snow Camp, died suddenly on Friday, June 8, 2012 at his residence.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Beulah Severt Lutterloh and the son of Henry Walter Lutterloh Sr. and Birdie Alice Wood Lutterloh, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Family.
Survivors include a sister, Rebecca Lutterloh Coble of Liberty and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Lutterloh and Walter Lutterloh.
A graveside service will be conducted at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church cemetery on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Warren Cash.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & ThompsonFuneralHomeandCrematory in Graham on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of David Lutterloh, 5720 Holt Cross Road, Burlington, N.C.
