    MEBANE — James Benjamin Kimbro, 39, of 723 N. Wilba Road, passed away March 30, 2011.
    He was the husband of Erica Mitchell Kimbro and was born February 20, 1972, in Alamance County to James Simmons Kimbro and Henrietta Bare England.
    James worked for G.E. in Mebane and attended Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church after growing up in the Baynes Community. He was a fun-loving prankster who adored his family. He always had a smile on his face and made you glad to know him.
    Survivors include his wife of the home; children, Mariah Hogan-Kimbro, Matthew Kimbro and Trinity Kimbro, all of the home; his mother, Henrietta (Peter) England, of Graham; his father, James “Jimi” Kimbro, of Burlington; and a brother, Jonathan (Danielle) Kimbro, of Aspen, Colo.
    The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Mebane by the Rev. Norman T. Umstead Jr. Interment will follow in Baynes Baptist Church Cemetery.
    The family will receive friends from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service and at other times at the home.
    Memorials may be made to the Kimbro Children College Fund, c/o Erica Kimbro, 723 N. Wilba Road, Mebane, NC 27302.
