Diane T. McVey Ingelheim
GRAHAM — Mrs. Diane T. McVey Ingelheim of 3166 Oscar Bailey Road, Burlington, N.C. passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 7:15 a.m. at the Hospice Home of Burlington.
Born in Alamance County, she was a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church. Diane was a topnotch basketball player at the E.M. Holt School and was the owner of the Company Shops News Stand.
Survivors include her husband, Mickey Thomas Ingelheim, of the home; son, Ricky McVey and wife Kim, of Yanceyville; grandchildren, Johnathan McVey and Mallory McVey, both of Yanceyville; special companions, Clatie, Amos, and Ollie; sister, Glennice Bunting and husband Bill, of Burlington; two nephews; stepchildren, Selena Wolfe and husband Rusty of Miami, Florida; stepgrandchildren, Justin Wolfe and Logan Wolfe; and special friends, Joyce Carter, Patsy Moser, and Norene Ray.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary McVey; and parents, Ralph Gordon Thompson and Irene Stanfield
Thompson.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel, 1030 South Main Street, Graham, N.C. by the Rev. Al Trotter and the Rev. Jerry Jackson. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Graham, N.C.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. and at other times at the residence.
