Mebane- Ms. Mildred Anne Lewis, 74, died Sunday, May 11, 2014. She was born in Alamance County to the late Ed Lewis and Nannie Westbrook Lewis. She was a graduate of Aycock High School in 1958. She then remained at home to care for her parents, Started working at Royal Home Fashion for nine years.
She is survived by four sisters, Sadie Leigh of Altamahaw, Irene Shields of Mebane, Ruby Squires of Mebane, Dorothy Jordan (James) of Elon. She has several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by two sisters, and four brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 1-1:50 prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery. 470, Mildred Anne Lewis
