Betty Barts Frazier


BURLINGTON – Ms. Betty Barts Frazier of Burlington died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 2:15 p.m. following several months of declining health.

A native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of James Coy Barts and Lillie Mae Barts, both deceased. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Greg Frazier (Laurie) and Kirk Frazier (Janet); four grandchildren, Tiffany Dunn (Harold), Jordan Norris (Kyle), Casey Frazier (Taylor) and Kelly Hamby (Shawn); three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mary Ellen Barts Robertson, Catherine Barts Campbell, Ann Barts Byrd, Margaret Barts Minor, Olean Barts Somers and Beatrice Barts Williams; sister-in-law, Frances Travis Barts; and many nieces and nephews.

Ms. Frazier was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Barts Patton and Dorothy Barts Gann and one brother, J. C. Barts.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2 p.m. by Rev. Norman F. Fargis with the family receiving friends from 12:15 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery, Caswell County, NC.
