Salisbury-Carol Lynn Compton Page, 53, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013, at CMC-Northeast Medical Center, following a period of declining health.
Born July 16, 1960, in Memphis, TN, she was a daughter of the late Billy Ronald and Elizabeth Frances Hudgins Compton.
A graduate of Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, VA, Carol was of the Baptist faith and had attended High Rock Community Church. Working in the grocery business for many years, she had been in sales and marketing for a food broker.
Family members left to cherish Carol's memory include her husband, William Mark Page; her sisters, Pat Snyder (Doug) of Winston-Salem and Betty French (Kevin), of Fredericksburg, VA; and her brother, Billy Ronald Compton, Jr. of Winston-Salem.
Carol will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00-7:00 pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. Funeral services to remember and celebrate Carol's life will be at 11:00 am Monday, December 16, 2013, at Bethlehem Christian Church, 3625 Altamahaw Church Street, Elon, NC 27244, conducted by the Rev. Dave Gilbert, Pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
