Paul Randal “Randy” Lewis
DECATUR, Ga. — Mr. Paul Randal “Randy” Lewis, 56, formerly of Gibsonville, died at his residence in Decatur, Ga., on Saturday, August 18, 2012.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Paul Thomas Lewis and Joan Elizabeth House Lewis, both deceased. He graduated from Gibsonville High School in 1974 and was a member of Wicker Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Walter E. “Ricky” Lewis and wife Elizabeth; a stepmom, Patricia G. Lewis; a stepbrother, Brad E. Benfield; an uncle, A. J. “Jay” House Jr. and wife Linda; three nieces, Sarah E. Lewis, Erica R. Lewis and London M. Benfield; and two cousins, Lori H. Holt and husband Junior and Josh M. House and wife Tracey.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Alvin Lewis.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Mike Jones with the family receiving friends from noon to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Gibsonville City Cemetery. At other times, the family will be at the residence of the brother, Ricky Lewis, 503 Westfield Lane, Gibsonville, N.C.
