Obituary Online notes for Carolyn JARRETT
Carolyn graduated from Appalachian University with a degree in education. Following her marriage to Dr. George Waynick, a dentist, she moved to Winston-Salem. A steadfast member of Home Moravian Church, with her husband George, she collected moravian decorative arts. Dr. & Mrs. Waynick restored the 1831 Kuhln house in Old Salem, years before the village was popular. The Waynicks received the Frederick William Marshal award for their many selfless acts and gifts to Old Salem. Mother of Ann Waynick Hill & sister of Theo Wright.
