JONESVILLE, N.C. — Delcie Hart Blalock, 83, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at her son’s home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Alamance County to the late Dewey Gray and Lessie Phillips Hart and was married to the late Johnnie Edward Blalock Sr.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Sue Blalock; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Keith Moore; former daughter-in-law, Becky Kimrey; grandchildren and spouses, Kimberly and William La-Fontaine, Steven and Lindy Blalock, Jonathan Blalock, Jessica Moore, Elisabeth and Michael Dickerson, Brittany and Fabio Salgado, David Blalock, Caroline Moore and Sabrina Kimrey; greatgrandchildren , Grant and Olivia King, Elissa, Mikayla and Annabelle Dickerson, Sebastien and Adrian Salgado; brother and sister-inlaw, Eugene and Toni Hart.
She was preceded in death by her son, Edward “Eddie” Blalock Jr.; husband; and parents.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Keith Moore, with burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
