Paul Warren Coble
CARY — Mr. Paul Warren Coble, 91, of Woodland Terrace, formerly of Scythe Road, Julian, died Friday, June 15, 2012.
A native of Guilford County, Paul was the son of Phipps William Coble and Ida Andrews Coble. He was married to MaggieShoffnerCoble.Paul was a World War II veteran with more than two years service in North Africa and Italy. He was a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service and a lifetime member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ in Whitsett.
Survivors include two sons, Wes Coble and wife Becky of Raleigh and Bob Coble and wife Jean of Garner; three grandchildren, Tammie Stagnitta and Jana Yon of Fuquay Varina, and Brian Coble of Raleigh; and three great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Joe Coble; two sisters, Ethel Peterson and Elsie McLaughlin; and half-sister, Lucy Charters.
A graveside service will be conducted at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ Cemetery on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at 11 a.m. with the family receiving friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, 2400 Mt. Hope Church Road, Whitsett, NC 27377; or to Hospice of Wake County Foundation, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
